Like peanut butter and jelly, Captain and Tennille, or Bert and Ernie, summertime and fairs just go hand in hand. In fact, it seems like everywhere you look in the PA Great Outdoors there’s a fair, carnival, or festival going on at some point during the summer. Heck, I’ve even witnessed a few hootenannies!
Do you want to see livestock auctions? Wolf’s Corners Fair has got that. How about some live music? Robyn Young and the Windy River Band will be on stage to electrify your experience. Would you like to see a pet/owner costume contest? Who wouldn’t? You’re not going to see a show like that anywhere else, unless you already do that with your pet at home, in which case I don’t want to hear about it!
“Hold on a minute,” you say. “The last day of the Fair is on the 4th of July. I don’t want to miss seeing fireworks on the 4th of July! Everyone will think I’m a communist.” Well worry not, comrade. The Wolf’s Corner Fair puts on one of the best fireworks shows in the area. You’ll feel proud to be an American as you behold the awe inspiring display of technicolor illumination.
Still not convinced? Did I mention that there’s a mini-horse pull? Is there anything cuter than a mini-horse? Yes, there is; a bunch of mini-horses in a test of mini-horse strength. So clear your schedule for the week of June 28th – July 4th because there is no way you’re going to see everything there is to see and do everything there is to do at the Wolf’s Corners Fair in Tionesta in one visit.
