Looking for a fun way to experience the fall season? Paul’s Pumpkin Patch in Frogtown, PA (just north of New Bethlehem) offers visitors “Fall Family Fun on the Farm.”

Paul Stahlman is a retired elementary music teacher and saw the farm that had been in his family since 1940 as a great opportunity to bring his passion for farming and children together. In the fall of 2008, The Stahlman Family opened Paul’s Pumpkin Patch to the public.  It truly is a family endeavor with their three sons each contributing to the farm with their own special skills.

Paul’s Pumpkin Patch is home to the famous “Frogtown Flinger” pumpkin launcher.  Because, who doesn’t want to see a pumpkin fly through the air at breakneck speeds to eventually smash into the ground?!

The family grows over 60 varieties of pumpkins, squash, gourds, and ornamental corn.  If you’re looking for fall decorations, there is no need to search any further.  Opening day of the 2017 season is Wednesday, September 27th.

They offer a $6.00 Fun Pass that includes:

  • Frogtown Flinger Demonstration
  • Paul’s Peak Hay Mountain
  • Paul’s Pee-Wee Pumpkin Maze
  • Hay ride
  • Barnyard Petting Zoo
  • Kid’s Corn Box
  • Barrel Train
  • Stahlman History House
  • Mini Corn Maze
  • And more

The “Not Too Scary Hay rides” are very popular.  Guests get to ride through the fields with a talented storyteller and enjoy spectacular fall scenes.

Rides are from 7pm-9pm and you should call ahead for reservations.  Hay rides will be held Friday and Saturday evenings October 13th through October 28th.  They also offer 2-hour and 4-hour Educational Field Trips Monday through Friday.  Sunday October 1st is Gospel Music Night starting at 5pm.

Paul’s Pumpkin Patch is located at 395 Marks Lane, Fairmount City, PA  16224.  Their website is PaulsPumpkinPatch.com and they are also on Facebook Facebook.com/paulspumpkins/
