Full-service campgrounds throughout the PA Great Outdoors region offer comforting amenities including modern showers, restrooms and general stores. You can also find more secluded options in state parks, rustic campgrounds, and some campsites and wilderness islands that are only accessible by watercraft.

The Seneca named this area "where the water separates the land." Seven islands totaling 368 acres are designated as part of the National Wilderness Preservation System.

Bring your own horses to camp and ride the trails through the wilderness in the heart of the Benezette elk herd with access to Thunder Mountain Equestrian Trail.

Clear Creek State Park encompasses more than 1,900 acres and occupies a scenic portion of the Clear Creek Valley. It offers hiking, camping, rustic cabins, and Clarion River access for fishing, swimming, and boating.

Dude ranch packages: horses, meals, and cabins. Guided horse rides, electric/water hook-ups, modern facilities. Horse camping, tie and box stalls. 300 miles of horse trails. May-October.

8,500-acre park with old-growth forests along Clarion River, 29 miles of hiking trails, camping, cabins, playgrounds, picnicking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, scenic views, and wildlife.
