When the cool air of fall blows through the bright red, yellow, and orange leaves in the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors, it is the perfect time to hit the trail for some leaf viewing on your ATV. Riders can enjoy nature’s beauty and see abundant wildlife as they cruise through our wild and wonderful woodlands. The Allegheny National Forest in Forest County offers riders over 100 miles of ATV trails which are open through September. The fall colors should be at their peak for the annual Marienville Fall Tour-De-Forest on October 4th and 5th. Tour-De-Forest provides ATV riders a leisurely ride through the scenic Allegheny National Forest on designated forest roads and trails that are not usually open to ATV traffic. This ride, which benefits the Marienville Volunteer Fire Company, has a very low difficulty level and is good for riders of all ages and experience levels to enjoy. The ANF will have the Marienville & Timberline ATV trails open Columbus Day weekend from Friday – October 9th through Monday – October 12th. Make plans now to load up your ATV and make tracks for the PA Great Outdoors for some fall ATV fun.
