As the nights get longer, why not go listen to some local live music in the Great Outdoors region? We have plenty to choose from for all musical tastes. Here’s the November lineup.

Bill Young is an acoustic artist covering a variety of tunes from classic rock to present day including 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and originals as well. His set list ranges from the Beatles to the Foo Fighters. His extensive set list and wide range on vocals makes him a hit at any venue. He’s playing on November 4th from 6-10 p.m. at Clarion River Brewing Company.

Gary Bickerstaff brings you all your acoustic top favorite hits at Deer Creek Winery on November 4th at 7 p.m. and November 19th at Iron Mountain Grille.

Do you like rock and dance hits of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today? Then The Intent Band is just who you want to come out and see at Ray’s Hot Spot on November 4th starting at 9:45 p.m.

Bryan Phillips will be playing all your favorite country hits November 4th at Iron Mountain Grille and at Deer Creek Winery on November 5th at 2 p.m. and November 11th at 7 p.m.

Tammi Dahl and Rachael Mellor are dynamic performers who can sing from many genres including pop, ballads, rock, R&B, country, jazz, show tunes, disco, and you may even hear some originals. They will be at Christmas in the Village on November 5th from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Four real brothers and a wife make up the most unique music act you will ever see.  The Moore Brothers sing doo-wop, 50’s, 60’s, classic rock, hits of the country legends, as well as today’s best country artists.  But that’s not all.  Want to hear Johnny Cash and June Carter or Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty?  How about guys that can play hard rockin’ double lead guitars then pick up the fiddle and do great foot-stompin’ country. They do it all. Don’t miss them at the grand re-opening of Groundhog Winery on November 5th at 2 and 4 p.m.

Uncharted Course will play some sweet, slow old time classic rock favorites for you at Deer Creek Winery on November 5th at 7 p.m.

The newly formed band Arcade will give it up at R** Bandana Winery on November 5th from 7-10 p.m.

The Windy River Band plays all types of music from country, to oldies to classic rock that you can dance to and have a blast! If you like to dance —- you’ll love this band. For over a decade they have played all over Western PA and want to play for you so don’t miss them at Ray’s Hot Spot on November 5th starting at 9:45 p.m.

A refreshing and delightful program of accessible classical wind chamber music with Renaissance City Winds, who bring world class wind playing to Lincoln Hall on November 6th at 2pm.

If blues, jazz, country and Texas swing is your thing then Ricci Hardt is a must see at Deer Creek Winery on November 6th at 2 p.m.

Robyn Young performs acoustic country, pop, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s rock and country. She is also a songwriter so you will hear some of her original work as well. She’s playing on November 11th from 7-10 p.m. at  R** Bandana Winery.          

Trixx band plays all your favorite classic rock hits from the 70’s and 80’s including Journey, Styx, Bryan Adams and so much more. These guys have been together for a long time and it shows. They are playing at Ray’s Hot Spot on November 11th.

On November 12th at 2 p.m. Bryan Schwab Jr. plays all your favorite acoustic blues, psychedelic and rock fusion tunes at Deer Creek Winery.

High energy classic rock band the Rockaholics are a group of veteran musicians that can really deliver a great show and they are delivering it at R** Bandana Winery on November 12th from 7-10 p.m.

Spanning four decades, The Ozone Rangers are a classic rock, country, and ZZ Top tribute band. Relying on a groove of bluesy bass and drum rhythms sprinkled with some tasty Southern licks, the Ozone recipe has stood the test of time like a bottle of Jack Daniels on a woodshed shelf. You don’t want to miss them at Ray’s Hot Spot on November 12th starting at 9:30 p.m.

JB Unplugged is a singer/songwriter performing for over 25 years, playing the music you love from today’s new pop and country, to old classics with a catalog of over 500 songs and all genres of music. He’s playing at Iron Mountain Grille on November 12th.

Come out and listen to Nick Forsyth covering some Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty and much, much more on November 12th at 9 p.m. at the Driftwood Saloon & Grill.

If you need Jazz, standards and swing tunes in your life then Jazz Lite is the band that you need to see on November 18th at the Iron Mountain Grille.

The US Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus will be offering unparalleled versatility of programming, ranging from orchestral masterworks and operatic arias to Sousa marches, jazz classics, and Broadway musicals at the Elk County Catholic High School in St. Marys on November 17th at 7 p.m.

Playing acoustic sounds of today’s country hits and yesterday’s favorites, Til’ Morning will be at R** Bandana Winery on November 18th from 7-10 p.m.

Chaz plays all your classic and dance rock favorites. They have been playing together for a long time and have always been very good. They are at Ray’s Hot Spot on November 18th starting at 9:30 p.m.  

Burning Daylight, an acoustic duo, will play your 90’s and present day country music favorites at R** Bandana Winery on November 19th from 7-10 p.m.

Two For Flinching combines some of the most talented musicians in the area with an entertaining stage performance and a spectacular sound and lighting show. The quartet switches effortlessly between smooth funk, hard rock and groovin’ dance rhythms, while providing sweet vocal harmonies, dazzling technical musicianship and a dose of humor. You don’t want to miss them at Ray’s Hot Spot on November 19th starting at 9:30 p.m.

An Old-Fashioned Christmas Concert played on the museum’s antique machines is sure to delight your ears on November 20th at 1:30 p.m. at DeBence Music World.

If you like folky rock you’re going to like James Willaman. He’s playing at R** Bandana Winery on November 25th from 7-10 p.m.

No matter what era you’re from, the rockin’ duo Wheels & Heels (Dick and Joanie from the band Trixx) will probably know one of your favorite songs. They are at Iron Mountain Grille on November 25th.   

Rumble Seat Winos play electrifying rock with a unique show of great music and comedic interaction on November 26th from 7-10 p.m. at R** Bandana Winery.

You can see Victorian Carolers strolling the streets singing your favorite Christmas Carols on November 25th-27th at Shoppes of Reynoldsville Open House and also at the Light Up Brookville event on November 25th from 5-9 p.m.

The Necessary Experience is a fun, funky rock and roll band playing top hits from The Beatles, Steve Miller, Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Motown. In essence they’re Funky People Playin’ Funky Tunes!!! They will play at Ray’s Hot Spot on November 25th starting at 9:30 p.m.

Tim Lionelli is the lead singer from the Woo Hoo Band and plays acoustic favorites by The Eagles, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Crosby-Stills-Nash & Young, The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Beatles just to name a few. He will be bringing a few other band members with him making up Tim Lionelli +. They will be at Iron Mountain Grille on November 26th.  

On November 26th, the Back Porch Rockers will be slingin’ ya some blues and classic rock at Ray’s Hot Spot starting at 9:30 p.m.

The region also has some terrific monthly meet ups to showcase your talent as well.

The Forest County Country Music Association has a bluegrass and country music jam session to set your toes a tappin’ and your fingers snappin’. You are even welcome to join in if you like. It happens the 2nd Friday each month at the MACA building on Pine Street in Marienville and the 3rd Friday each month at the Forest Folk School in Tionesta.

If you love American Folk Music; singing, playing guitar, banjo, ukulele, dulcimer or mandolin meet at CREATE Café on the first Thursday of each month where you’ll play the music of Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Peter Paul & Mary, The Kingston Trio and many, many more of your favorite classic folk tunes from the 1930’s through the 1970’s. On the third Thursday of each month bring a stringed instrument and join in the Fiddler’s Jam at CREATE Café or just sit a spell and watch. Call (814) 271-7726 for more information.

Aroma Café in Emporium has an open mic night every Tuesday with live local talent. You never know who you’ll see. Call (814) 486-7662 to schedule your performance.

Blackbird Distillery has a different artist every Saturday at Shine On Saturdays.

Pack up your pipes and get your karaoke on every Wednesday from 8-11 p.m. at Ray’s Hot Spot.

On the 3rd Thursday of every month Tom Frech of Dos Hombres will be hosting Medix Hotel’s Got Talent open mic night so get out there, enjoy yourself on the deck with a cold cocktail and let your “soul sing” on.

Be your own rock star or just have fun listening with Master Blaster DJ Karaoke on November 4th from 7-10 p.m. at R** Bandana Winery.
