Summer’s here and the time is right for dancin’ in … the Great Outdoors Region. No matter where you like to hear great live music, be it outside by a roaring fire, or in a club, restaurant or winery we have just what you need to get your favorite music. Here’s the great bands playing in June.

Robyn Young performs acoustic country, pop, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s rock and country. She is also a songwriter so you will hear some of her original work as well. She’s playing on June 3rd and 25th from 6-9 p.m. at Deer Creek Winery, on June 12th from 3-6 p.m. at Trail’s End Restaurant, on June 17th from 7-10 p.m. at R** Bandana Winery and June 28th at the Allegheny Grille from 6-9 p.m.

Gary Bickerstaff will be playing all your acoustic top favorite hits at Iron Mountain Grille on June 3rd and 25th from 7-10 p.m., June 10th from 7-9 p.m. at Treasure Lake’s Lakeview Lodge, June 24th from 8-11 p.m. at Clarion River Brewing Company, on June 21st from 5-8 p.m. and on June 26th from 3-6 p.m. at Trail’s End Restaurant.

Playing all of your country acoustic favorites Til’ Morning will be at R** Bandana Winery on June 3rd from 7-10 p.m. and at the Allegheny Grille on June 21st from 6-9 p.m.

Check out the Hot Dogs and Wine Band at Treasure Lake’s Lakeview Lodge on June 3rd and 24th from 7-9 p.m. They play modern rock, blues and pop.

If you like the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan, you will love the music that Bob Shawgo plays. He’s at Clarion River Brewing Company June 3rd from 8-11 p.m. and June 12th from 1-4 p.m. at R** Bandana Winery.

Do you like rock and dance hits of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today? Then The Intent Band is just who you want to come out and see at Ray’s Hot Spot on June 3rd at 9:30 p.m.

Rick & Jen dish up all of your top 40 favorites on June 4th and 25th from 2-5 p.m. at R** Bandana Winery.

East and West plays country, folk, acoustic rock, bluegrass…and yes, even opera! They will be playing at Foxburg Wine Cellars on June 4th from 2-5 p.m.

On June 4th and 12th Bryan Schwab & Jim Kelley play all your favorite acoustic blues, psychedelic and rock fusion tunes from 2-5 p.m. at Deer Creek Winery.

Tim Lionelli plays acoustic favorites by The Eagles, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Crosby-Stills-

Nash & Young, The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Beatles just to name a few. He will be at Iron Mountain Grille on June 4th from 7-10 p.m.

Lonesome Bob and Steve play electrifying rock with a unique show of great music and comedic interaction on June 4th from 7 -10 p.m. and June 18th from 2-5 p.m. at R** Bandana Winery.

The 2 of Us are an acoustic rock duo who play classic rock tunes of the 70’s and 80’s. You will want to see them at Laurel Mountain Vineyard’s Sunset at the Winery on June 4th at 7 p.m.

Spanning four decades, The Ozone Rangers are a classic rock, country, and ZZ Top tribute band. Relying on a groove of bluesy bass and drum rhythms sprinkled with some tasty Southern licks, the Ozone recipe has stood the test of time like a bottle of Jack Daniels on a woodshed shelf. You don’t want to miss them at Ray’s Hot Spot on June 4th at 9:30 p.m.

If you like folky rock you are going to like James Willaman. He’s playing at  Foxburg Wine Cellars on June 5th from 2-5 p.m.

Samantha Sears will be playing her special blend of eclectic acoustic rock at Deer Creek Winery on June 5th 2-5 p.m. and June 18th 6-9 p.m.

JB Unplugged is a singer/songwriter performing for over 25 years, playing the music you love from today’s new pop and country, to old classics with a catalog of over 500 songs and all genres of music. He’s playing at Trail’s End Restaurant on June 5th from 3-6 p.m.

Bryan Phillips will be playing all your favorite & country hits at Deer Creek Winery’s Friday Night Music Lounge on June 4th, 10th and 24th from 6-9 p.m. and June 19th from 2-5 p.m.

Root 2 Fifth is an acoustic music duo that plays classic, timeless country and rock tunes. They will be at the Medix Hotel on June 5th.

Is blues, jazz, country and Texas swing your thing? Then Ricci Hardt is a must see at Allegheny Grille on June 7th, on June 11th from 6-9 p.m. and June 26th from 2-5 p.m. at Deer Creek Winery and Clarion River Brewing Company on June 18th from 8-11 p.m.

The internationally acclaimed and world traveled River City Brass – America’s favorite Brass Band in a program entitled “Brasstacular”! on June 10th at 7 p.m. at The Crawford Center in Emlenton.

If you’re looking for a band that plays all the classics that you haven’t heard in a while, then get out to R** Bandana Winery and give The Speakeasies a listen on June 10th from 7-10 p.m.

The Windy River Band plays all types of music from country, to oldies to classic rock that you can dance to and have a blast! If you like to dance —- you’ll love this band. For over a decade they have played all over Western PA and want to play for you so don’t miss them at Ray’s Hot Spot on June 10th starting at 9:30pm.

Nick Forsyth plays all of your acoustic cover tunes from Johnny Cash to Neil Young and anything in between. He’s playing the 4-year anniversary celebration at Benezette Wines on June 11th from 2-5 p.m., possibly longer.

On June 11th from 2-5 p.m. Terry Dach on guitar & Charlie Fischer on keyboards will be playing original tunes, along with classic rock favorites at Foxburg Wine Cellars.

Carolyn Longo will be playing pop rock, blues, smooth jazz, standards and celtic folk tunes on June 11th from 2-5 p.m. at Deer Creek Winery.

High energy classic rock band the Rockaholics are a group of veteran musicians that can really deliver a great show and they are delivering it at R** Bandana Winery on June 11th from 7-10 p.m.

Mis B’ Havin is fast becoming Northwestern PA’s premier classic rock band playing a wide variety of hits from the last 40 years. They love it all from Deep Purple- Aretha Franklin, Hendrix – Motown, you name it. Their Led Zeppelin is over the top. If it dances, moves and has soul you are likely to hear it. They will play at Ray’s Hot Spot on June 11th at 9:30 p.m.

Richard Eustice is ½ of the duo Acoustic Highway. He plays acoustic rock n roll favorites. He will be at  Foxburg Wine Cellars on June 12th from 2-5 p.m.

JB Unplugged is a singer/songwriter performing for over 25 years, playing the music you love from today’s new pop and country, to old classics with a catalog of over 500 songs and all genres of music. He’s playing at Iron Mountain Grille on June 11th from 7-10 p.m.

The Ryver Nymphs are an acoustic duo that plays country and folk favorites. They will be dishing up your favorites at Allegheny Grille on June 14th from 6-9 p.m.

If you need Jazz, standards and swing tunes in your life then Jazz Lite is the band that you need to see on June 17th from 5-8 p.m. at the Iron Mountain Grille.

The Sawyer Stepp Trio is a quality, easy listening, full sounding trio band that performs a nice variety of songs from the 70’s, 60’s, 50’s, 40’s, 30’s and even back to the roaring 20’s! They will play at  Deer Creek Winery’s Friday Night Music Lounge on June 17th from 6-9 p.m.

Markievitch & McDonald play new and classic acoustic rock with American roots attitude. They will be at Treasure Lake’s Lakeview Lodge on June 17th from 7-9 p.m.

Relax under the stars to the spine tingling vocals and sultry tone of Blossom Hollow Band an extraordinary Country Duo (Nicole Morgan & Matthew Sheedy). Country, pop, folk, acoustic and sing along tunes are their specialty. Join in the fun at Big Elk Lick Campground on June 17th at 9 p.m.

Chaz plays all of your classic and dance rock favorites. They have been playing together for a long time and have always been very good. They are at Ray’s Hot Spot on June 17th at 9:30 p.m.

Mancave Music will be playing some great acoustic tunes for you at Foxburg Wine Cellars on June 18th from 2-5 p.m.

Uncharted Course will play some sweet, slow old time classic rock favorites for you at Deer Creek Winery on June 18th from 2-5 p.m.

Megan McGarry plays the banjo, fiddle and sings country, bluegrass and folk favorites and her original songs as well. She will be at Benezette Wines on June 18th from 6-8 p.m.

Bad Hat Daddy O’s are a classic rock duo playing all of your favorites from the Eagles to Rod Stewart to Tom Petty and more at Laurel Mountain Vineyard’s Sunset at the Winery on June 18th at 7 p.m. and on June 28th from 5-8 p.m. at Trail’s End Restaurant.

Two Guys Drinking Beer will be playing your favorite acoustic cover tunes at the Andrews Farm while you check out home brews and local wines and have a great dinner at the Pork & Cork Scholarship Fundraiser on June 18th from 5-9 p.m. Must be 21 years of age to attend. Burning Daylight, an acoustic duo, will play your 90’s and present day country music favorites from 7-10 p.m. on June 18th at R** Bandana Winery.

Sofa King Cool Band plays classic rock so well you can almost feel your hair growing! Awesome and absolutely amazing. Classic rock, blues rock, southern rock, dance rock, if it’s rock then they play it, and they’re playing it at Ray’s Hot Spot on June 18th at 9:30 p.m.

Presenting a Dixieland program, The Bully Hill Brass Band is sure to deliver an afternoon of great music at DeBence Antique Music World on June 19th at 1:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend. Made possible by a grant from the Rees Foundation.

Singer-songwriter Coston Cross continuously uses all his life experiences and the influences of Garth Brooks, George Strait, George Jones and believe it or not Guns ‘n Roses to shape his own style of new country music. He is a must see at Trail’s End Restaurant on June 19th from 3-6 p.m.

Dos Hombres is the acoustic duo of Butch Salada and Tom Frech playing acoustic electric rock. They will play at the Medix Hotel on June 19th.

Don Schiebel does some fantastic work on his beautiful 12-string Guild with a voice and a selection of music that will stir so many old memories. Catch his show at Foxburg Wine Cellars on June 19th from 2-5 p.m.

FM is an acoustic pop/country duet featuring Melissa Smith on vocals and percussion & William (Fitty) Smith on Guitar and vocals. They’re playing on June 24th from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Iron Mountain Grille.

Route 8 will give you a new spin on some classic rock favorites on June 24th from 7-10 p.m. and Darla from Route 8 goes solo on June 26th from 2-5 p.m. at R** Bandana Winery.

The Necessary Experience is a fun, funky rock and roll band playing top hits from The Beatles, Steve Miller, Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Motown. In essence they’re Funky People Playin’ Funky Tunes!!! They will play at Ray’s Hot Spot on June 24th at 9:30 p.m.

Max Schang Blues Band does a collection of well-known blues tunes performed with a sense of fun and an original approach…and as always a crowd-stompin’ good time so get your stomp on at Foxburg Wine Cellars on June 25th from 2-5 p.m.

Daniel Stockwell has a unique mix of folk, rock and indie music. He plays cover songs and has some really good original tunes as well. He’ll be at Deer Creek Winery on June 25th from 2-5 p.m.

If you love a crossover between rockabilly, new grass, acoustic rock and roll, country and a little bluegrass thrown in for good measure then Mandolin Whiskey is who you wanna see and R** Bandana Winery is where you gotta be on June 25th from 7-10 p.m.

Six Pak band will be playing everything from bluegrass to rock and back to country, Johnny Cash to Guns n Roses and back to Waylon Jennings, June Carter Cash to Joan Jett and back to Miranda Lambert at the Rich Valley Rumble on June 25th.

Bill Thompson Unplugged will be playing country and rock acoustic favorites at the Medix Hotel on June 25th.

Trixx band plays all of your favorite classic rock hits from the 70’s and 80’s including Journey, Styx, Bryan Adams and so much more. These guys have been together for a long time and it shows. They are playing at Ray’s Hot Spot on June 25th starting at 9:30 p.m.

Kurt Thomas is the other ½ of the duo Acoustic Highway. He plays acoustic rock n roll favorites. He will be at Foxburg Wine Cellars on June 26th from 2-5 p.m.

The region also has some terrific monthly meet ups to show your talent as well.

The Forest County Country Music Association has a bluegrass and country music jam session to set your toes a tappin’ and your fingers snappin’. You are even welcome to join in if you like. It happens the 2nd Friday each month at the MACA building on Pine Street in Marienville and the 3rd Friday each month at the Forest Folk School in Tionesta.

If you love American Folk Music; singing, playing guitar, banjo, ukulele, dulcimer or mandolin meet at CREATE Café on the first Thursday of each month where you’ll play the music of Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Peter Paul & Mary, The Kingston Trio and many, many more of your favorite classic folk tunes from the 1930’s through the 1970’s.
