Emporium
The scenic 75-mile Bucktail Trail, PA Route 120, travels through the charming community of Emporium. This winding trail named after the famous Civil War-era Bucktail Regiment, meanders along West Branch Susquehanna River and through the Pennsylvania Wilds Region. Emporium is the county seat of Cameron County and is surrounded by the Elk State Forest, Sizerville and Sinnemahoning State Parks.
Only minutes away you can view Pennsylvania’s wild elk herd, explore horseback trails, take in a round of golf or encounter some of the state’s best fishing and hunting.

Bucktail State Park
This 16,433-acre natural area is actually a 75-mile scenic drive on Route 120 stretching from Emporium to Lock Haven. Four major hiking and backpacking treks include Quehanna, Bucktail Path, Donut Hole and Chuck Keiper trails. -
Cowley Run
The east and west branches flow through Sizerville State Park and contain brook and brown trout and offers mountain freestone fishing at its best. Nearby, the Portage and Driftwood branches of the Sinnemahoning Creek provide fishing for smallmouth bass and trout. All streams receive spring stockings and are under the laws of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. -
