The French & Indian War Encampment

Take a walk back in time and visit the beautiful Cook Forest State Park for a series of living history events depicting life during the French & Indian War.

This two-day encampment is sponsored by the Sawmill Center for the Arts.  Events and activities will be demonstrations such as blacksmithing, cooking, surgical techniques and so much more.  Story tellers enlighten the crowd with tales as they portray the lifestyle from the 18th century.

Cannons and muskets will be fired throughout the weekend including demonstrations on flintknapping, bow building, pottery, woodworking and so much more.

A fun-filled weekend for the entire family to enjoy June 10th and 11th.
