PA Firefly Festival

Come celebrate Pennsylvania's official insect, the firefly!

Your little ones are sure to be "glowing" with excitement!  The rare synchronous firefly blinks in unison in groups of thousands.  Definitely a sight to see!

The family-friendly celebration includes nature center exhibits, arts and crafts, games, live music, delicious food and more throughout the day.

Come nightfall, the area will shine as this amazing natural spectacle unfolds.  Volunteers and naturalists will be available throughout the festival to provide information and help optimize your experience.

Onsite camping available for a per tent fee, reservations required.  You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and please dress for the weather.  Hiking boots recommended for the firefly walks.  Walks begin at 10pm, end midnight.  Reserve your spot on the walk by calling Peggy (814) 463-7606 June 16th-July 1st.
