Marienville Winterfest

When Mother Nature sends down her snowflakes, don't fight them - Enjoy them! Marienville is known as the snowmobile capital of Pennsylvania and hosts a fun celebration.

This fun-filled event will be on Saturday, January 24th and includes a snow sculpture contest with winners in levels ranging from preschool to adult teams.  There is also a scavenger hunt, which will have you running all around town gathering the items on the list.

In the evening, the Forest County ATV Club sponsors Sky Lanterns To Heaven. For a small donation to the club, you can purchase and launch a luminous sky lantern in memory of a loved one or celebration of a special occasion.  The day's outdoor activities conclude around 7pm with the Snowmobile Torchlight Parade.

In addition to the outdoor fun, you are welcome to go inside the park building to warm up with homemade soups, sandwiches and sample the Chili Cook-Off.
