Where can I purchase fishing and hunting licenses?

Licenses can be purchased throughout Pennsylvania at sporting goods and numerous department stores.

Where can I ride my snowmobile and ATV in Northwest Pennsylvania?

Trail information can be obtained by requesting an "Outdoor Discovery Map". You can do so at the Contact us locations throughout our web site. PDFs of the counties covered (except Cameron) are available in the Map section.

What other information does the Outdoor Discovery Map contain?

The map contains an overview of all public outdoor recreation in the Allegheny National Forest Region.

Pennsylvania's flower, the Mountain Laurel, blooms mid-June.

When are the leaves in color?

The color of the leaves begin to change in late September. Best viewing is early to mid October. Visit our Discovering Autumn in NWPAGO with driving and hiking tours and information about the leaves.
