Marienville is quiet village nestled between two great forests, the Allegheny National Forest to the north and Cook Forest to the south. Located in scenic Route 66 in Forest County, the area is rich in history and natural attractions.

Famous for its ATV, trail biking and snowmobile trails, the town is host to thousands of riders each year who enjoy easy access, exciting rides, and the friendliness of the local merchants. Nature lovers also flock to Marienville for the spectacular bird watching at Buzzard Swamp, the plentiful hiking trails, and campgrounds known for their wooded beauty.

No traffic lights and no four lane highways make this area the ideal escape destination. The numerous restaurants and shops here are all locally owned and welcome visitors as part of their family. The 12,080-acre Allegany Reservoir is 27 miles long with 90 miles of shoreline. Segments of the Allegheny & Clarion Rivers have been designated as National Wild and Scenic rivers. Hickory Creek & Allegheny Islands are nationally designated wilderness areas.

Marienville ATV Trail
Trailhead: Rt. 66, 11 miles N of Marienville
40 miles of interconnecting trails traverse scenic forested hills. Motorbike trail is narrow & winding with switchbacks, hill climbs and mud holes. The ATV trail is wider and more scenic. Use of trails is interchangeable.
