Largest downriver paddling event in Pennsylvania!

We are excited to share with you such a significant event in one of the most beautiful areas of Pennsylvania.  The scenic and challenging course is a 12-mile stretch of the Driftwood Branch of the Sinnemahoning Creek which runs from the Emporium Country Club to the town of Driftwood.  It is mostly flat with some class one white water and a few whirlpools.  Water levels have a drastic effect on the difficulty of the course.

"Cameron County - Clean, Fresh, and Beautiful"

Each year the Cameron County Canoe and Kayak Classic committee selects a new theme.  This year, the theme is "Cameron County - Clean, Fresh, and Beautiful."

The 2017 race awards will be handmade paddle plaques which will be given to participants over a wide array of classes.  The award ceremony and dinner is held at the Emporium Firehall.
